Often cited for its clean lines, crisp corners, and ease of workability, aluminum composite panels have become a prevalent material on gas stations and convenience stores. With the release of their Corporate ID program, ALPOLIC has provided these types of corporations with better consistency, lower costs, and easier installation. These programs, coupled with ALPOLIC’s custom coloring capabilities, have made the switch to composite material more logical and efficient than ever.

Last year, fabricators at Flexx Corporation began a re-imaging program with Esso to revamp an existing site by utilizing ALPOLIC panels. Pleased with their work on the Pioneer gasoline franchise, Esso approached Flexx for ACM options to replace the previously used painted gauged steel. Consistently working with ALPOLIC, Flexx’s previous success with the brand prompted them to recommend the composite panels for use on the exterior of the store and carwash.

Based on their corporate standard, and thanks to ALPOLIC’s wide range of colors, Esso was able to decide upon two finishes consistent with the company’s characteristic design. Following their praiseworthy work on the Sudbury site, Flexx has also been commissioned for the Timmins location, with hopes of additional stores in the near future as well.
