In spring of this year, fabricators at Igloo Erectors finished work on the new Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital. The new state of the art facility replaced the previously existing Fort Saskatchewan Health Centre, a 47-year-old structure approximately one-third the size of the new building.

The new hospital features improved, up-to-date emergency and outpatient departments, and is sized to serve the growing and aging population of Fort Saskatchewan and its neighboring communities. The facility now includes 38 acute care beds, an obstetrical program, radiology services, a laboratory and an in-house pharmacy.

ALPOLIC was chosen based on its superior paint finish, flexibility, and flat look without oil canning issues. Featured on the exterior walls and main entrances, ALPOLIC’s “superior performance and precise color matching capabilities” enhance both the integrity and aesthetics of the structure.
