The expression “hit the ground running” was made for people like Marc Ellis, architectural sales manager for Northern California. One of the freshest faces on the sales team, this native son of Sacramento has made a name for himself at ALPOLIC for his detail-oriented commitment to his customers and his colleagues. “When I say I’m going to do something, I do it.”
The first sales manager dedicated to the area full time, Marc has expanded ALPOLIC’s presence in this highly active market with hard work and commitment. “I believe transparency, honesty, and communication are the biggest keys for success,” said Marc, who exemplifies our company’s reputation for exceptional customer care. A prolific presenter during the Zoom Boom, he has thrived giving countless AIA-accredited continuation courses for architectural firms remotely but prefers being able to meet with people face-to-face. Traveling and creating relationships are his favorite parts of the job.
Marc is defined by his easy-going yet tenacious disposition and is no stranger to teamwork. Playing three years for San Diego State University’s Aztec football program, he graduated with a master’s degree and a Mountain West Championship win. After eight years in sales, Marc believes “quality customer service is the game-changer.” He cheekily summarized, “We pick up our phones at ALPOLIC.” With a full technical service team on call and responsive customer service, Marc likes to tell the Northern Californian firms he visits, “You can trust ALPOLIC. When he isn’t working, you’ll find him outdoors. A passionate golfer, he also loves boating, skiing, and working out.
