When sending physical samples, print and attach your PDF Color Match Request and/or label each piece with your unique Color Match Request #.

Color/Finish Information

Because color is multifaceted, the most accurate matches come from physical samples, but we understand sometimes that’s not possible. When matching to a Pantone (PMS) color please indicate if the color you want is coated or uncoated (stated in the color title as “C” or “U” or “CP” or “UP”). Pantone colors vary dramatically between formulas, and this helps us provide a quicker turnaround. If matching to other paint formulas, please provide as much information as possible to help ensure we understand the exact color you are trying to achieve.

We will do our best to meet your finish and warranty term needs, but there are many factors that play a role in the lifespan of any particular finish. When it comes to color fastness and warranty lifespan, a compromise between exact color and warranty is often required. Should a conflict arise, if you would like to prioritize color accuracy or warranty terms, please indicate that preference.
